![]() Sean Duggan is a monk of St. Joseph Abbey in Covington, Louisiana. In September, 1983 he won First Prize in the Johann Sebastian Bach International Competition for Pianists in Washington, D.C., and again in August, 1991. In 2000 he performed the complete cycle of Bach’s keyboard works eight times in various American and European cities. He is presently preparing to record the complete Bach cycle of clavier music and concertos which will comprise 25 CDs. He has performed with many orchestras including the Louisiana Philharmonic, the Buffalo Philharmonic, the Leipzig Baroque Soloists, The American Chamber Orchestra and the Pennsylvania Sinfonia. |

She has collaborated with David Zinman, Pinchas Zukerman, Michael Stern, Lorin Maazel, Michael Tilson Thomas, Yuri Temirkanov and Charles Dutoit and major orchestras such as the New York, St. Petersburg and China Philharmonics, the Tonhalle Orchestra in Zurich, the Vancouver, Baltimore, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Chicago and New Jersey Symphony Orchestras. She received the Gilmore Young Artist Award in 2006. |
